How can I get my net to work with online PS3 games (some work, some don't)?

Ok well firstly no 360 fanboys cos I couldn't even get onto xbox live.





Ok so I know its just somethign in my connection because I can play on them in my friends house on his connection, I am on a eircom wep encrypted connectionHow can I get my net to work with online PS3 games (some work, some don't)?
If when you look at your connection settings on your PS3 it says 'NAT type 3' that could be your problem. ( i know Pro evo likes 2 or higher.)


If you google your router (e.g. Linksys, Netgear) along with NAT 2 then you should get directed to some forums who've had similar issues and can get your router programmed to alter it.How can I get my net to work with online PS3 games (some work, some don't)?
ok ur nat type 2 which is good.


try turnin upnp on or off...this might sort it


if not goto game u have prob with website and look for what port settings the games run on and open these ports manually on your router(gets kinda complicated)


psn has it own ports too....if that dont fix it then id contact your isp and see what they say
cuz ur ethernet cable isnt plugged in
