SO, instead of renting games to see if they are cool, i can just download then since i got ps3 online, to play the demo, how long ashould it take to download? i got a 60 gig, but it takes like 3 hours!!! whats wrong?, or is this normal?
also, when i go to settings, then system settings, is says i have 46 gig of free space and that i started with 55 gig? so is my ps3 55 gigabytes?Ps3 online demos/GB??? HELP?
i depends on the demo, how long it will take. If the demo is a big file which most of the time they are it will take a longer time. Also it depends on your internet connection, my internet is an average speed and it takes me a few hours to download a demo... i think this is normal
i have a 60gb ps3 also, and it says that i have x / 55gb free space this is because of the ps3's OS (operating system) whisch uses up some of the memory on your hard drive... so technically yes your ps3 is 55gb because you can only use and access 55gb of the full 60gb....
if you want more memory i would reccomend you buy a new hard drive, you can buy a 500gb one for not that expensive. Just look it up... 500gb 2.5'; Sata HDD.... i'd reccomend 5400rpm because that is the speed of the original hdd in ur ps3 so a 7200rpm one may overheat your ps3Ps3 online demos/GB??? HELP?
the PS store isnt blazingly fast, if loads of people are downalodign the demo then it will take longer, also some of the demos are over 1gb so dont expect that to downlaod too quick.
you do have 60gb, jsut some of it is used by the PS3 OS so it'll only show 55GB.
