does anyone know how to get online to work, i have tried static ip with ps3, setting dmz with router to forward all ports to ps3, nothing, lets me play for few minutes then says disconnected 8002a548

Port forwarding would only be required if you were acting as a server, so setting your IP to the DMZ is unnecessary. Do you have a wired connection, or is it wireless? You should consider bypassing network hardware and just connect the PS3 directly to your modem. If you still have the problem, you should be asking your ISP, not us, and if you don't, then you have a problem with your router.





Upgrading the router firmware would be my first recommendation, and if that doesn't do the trick, then maybe replace it altogether (or if you're using wireless, you should consider ethernet).
