theoretically, you could get your laptop online using the dongle then bridge your ps3 via ethernet cable to get it online, but, it's gonna be slow and useless for gaming i'm afraid!

The thing is, even if you got it to work, your broadband would be so slow, that you couldn't do anything with it. You could not play games online or anything like that.
You need home broadband, ideally, at least 4mgs, more if possible:)
PS3's have built-in wireless networking, as far as I know you don't need one.
If its USB, then no, you can't.
