i dont have a router or anything i just have a usb 3 data modem and it works fine on my laptop but i want to go online with my ps3, the modem doesnt work with the ps3 so does anybody know how i can get the ps3 onlineI got a ps3 for christmas and want to get online?

i heard of connecting the modem to the computer and then connecting the ethernet cable from the computer to the ps3, you have to have internet conection sharing on to do this
i also heard of getting a wifi max,you plug it into your internet enabled pc and it creates a wireless acess point then you can use the ps3s wifi to get online.
