Help with PS3 online!!?

i want to go online with my PS3. my modem has one etheret port that i need for PS3 online but it is already being used for something. how do i get to play online. also my internet is wireless with Comcast cable....thanks.Help with PS3 online!!?
If you only have one port you will need a router. I recommend a wireless router with ethernet ports. (Some are wireless only, some are wired only get one that does both.) I would also recommend connecting your ps3 if possible by ethernet as you may get interference on occasion with the wireless router (cordless phones, microwave, etc. may effect signal strength). You can pick one up for about $50 at any major retailer that sells electronics.Help with PS3 online!!?
If you have wi-fi...then you don't need to plug anything in. Your PS3 should be able to connect wirelessly to your modem/gateway. Go into settings, under network settings, and go through the steps to setup a wireless connection. Also, if your network is locked, make sure you enter the WEP (encryption key) into the ps3 settings so that the gateway/router will allow it to connect.
