I don't know about other games because Warhawk is the only game I have the uses a headset to chat online. In that game, you have to hold L3 (the left joystick) to talk. It may be the same in other games. Also try R3

Ok, i just got a ps3 bluetooth headset for my ps3 online, but i don't know how to talk to the other people.?
