SO, instead of renting games to see if they are cool, i can just download then since i got ps3 online, to play the demo, how long ashould it take to download? i got a 60 gig, but it takes like 3 hours!!! whats wrong?, or is this normal?





also, when i go to settings, then system settings, is says i have 46 gig of free space and that i started with 55 gig? so is my ps3 55 gigabytes?Ps3 online demos/GB??? HELP?

How can I improve my PCs deteriorating internet speed?

I am currently with Tiscali %26gt;4MB, but recently I only seem to be getting around 0.8MB, at peak times. It is also now affecting online PS3 gaming.


My computer is fairly new and has no known viruses. I have tried defrag and deleting temporary internet files but it is still the same. I am thinking of switching ISP, will this help?

Sorry, I don't think anyone ever has. Dial up is what everyone is trying to keep away from since dial up is the weakest connection ever and u can't do anything with it. You have to only use broadband to play online with the PS3. Nothing that Dial-up, or even DSL can do. The only thing you can do with DSL on PS3 is browse the web. Trust me, I've tried it.

It's really not possible to do anything with dial-up these days. You need to get a company that offers broadband internet service.

It all depends on what kind of connection you are using... if you are using an ethernet cable then just try to restart your dsl modem and reconfigure the ps3 online settings. if you are using wifi then you might have to check the network security and everything or just restart your wireless router and you should be fine.
