Call of Duty Modern Welfare Online PS3?

I just got a PS3 and I want to get Call of Duty modern welfare. I know the new one out is World at War but I prefer Modern Welfare over the WWII era. My questions is... are there still online players for Modern Welfare or has everyone switched over to World at War? I know everyone did not switch over but is it noticeable that there are not as many players on Modern Welfare?





Also how long can I expect before people leave servers and it is hard to find people to play with?Call of Duty Modern Welfare Online PS3?
The COD4 online world is going strong. We have had the game since it came out and the online environment is always busy. Rarely has there been a time when we couldn't find a game. Due to the excellence of the game play and the additional maps I would expect online game play to busy for the next year. We have not noticed a fall off yet.Call of Duty Modern Welfare Online PS3?
I have both WAW and COD4.





Inoticed that more than half of my firends switched over to WAW - It's jus that good.





COD4 just doesnt have what WAW has - Co-Op mode, new game modes - Llarger maps - More destructive enviornments and better Artificial intelligence - Its not two games you can compare, unlike Halo 3 and Resistance 2.





Personally the games you should get are as follows (i have 'em)


Bioshock


COD WAW


MGS4


Fallout 3


Resistance 2


Dont forget LBP - Thought not too crazy about it...





Games you should look foward to are : God of War 3 (Most definitly)


Killzone 2





And home...home is more of a virtual community than a game anyway.

jUST KNOW THAT cod4 WAS THE GAME OF THE YEAR OF 2007 AND WE'RE VIRTUALY IN 2009 - There is a huge gap in what good games should look like now.





Personally, COD WAW is the way to go.









Loads of people still play COD 4, most people didn't like the move back to WWII. -_-
people still play 4 cause many never bought world at war because it was made by a different team...the same one that made CoD3 : (
well its not hard to find people but yea there is a huge amount of ppl that got cod5 i still got cod 4 for a while
