I play my ps3 online all the time. When I set up my online account(for free), I don't remember seeing anything saying that any space on the hard drive had been taken up. However, your sign in information is saved if you opt for automatic sign in. If that takes up space on the hard drive, I don't know.Does online play with ps3 take up memory on you hardrive?
First: No, it doesn't use memory!





Second: if you have wireless internet then all you do is turn it on and setup your PS3 for wireless(2 min job).





If you have wired then you can just use the ethernet cable that you all ready have plugged into the back of your PC and plug it into the back of your PS3 and your away!!!!!
